Abstrakt: The article provides an analysis of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza, focusing on Israel's military actions and the potential for ethnic cleansing. It questions Israel's claim of self-defense under international law, as it is still considered the occupying power in Gaza. The article criticizes Israel's militaristic approach, disregard for international humanitarian law, and refusal to pursue peaceful coexistence. It also discusses the background of the Israeli occupation and the rise of Hamas, highlighting the failure of the Oslo Accord and Israel's refusal to negotiate with Hamas. The article concludes by examining the impact of the blockade on Gaza's civilian population and calls for a negotiated political compromise, led by an international coalition, to achieve a two-state solution. It also criticizes Western leaders for their perceived hypocrisy and calls for an end to Israel's settler-colonial and Jewish-supremacist ambitions. [Extracted from the article]
