Abstrakt: Jacqueline Alnes, a journalist, shares her experience with the fruitarian movement called "30 Bananas a Day" in her book, The Fruit Cure: The Story of Extreme Wellness Turned Sour. The movement claimed that eating a monodiet of potassium-rich fruit could heal chronic health issues. Alnes believes that while fruitarianism may have lost its appeal, other restrictive forms of eating have taken its place. [Extracted from the article]
