| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the possible date of Italian artist Marcantonio Raimondi's engraving "Virgin and the Cradle," based on a signed altarpiece of artist Gaspare Sacchi's oil painting "Virgin and Child with Eight Saints" in the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore in Italy which suggests that Raimondi's engraving was known to Sacchi. |
