Abstrakt: Studies the relationship of nonlethal reperfusion in arrhythmias to the duration of preceding coronary occlusion. Control of heart rate by bilateral vagotomy and continuous right vagal stimulation; Lack of significant reperfusion-induced change in the ventricular escape rate measured during left vagal stimulation after 15 or 30 minute of occlusion; Correlation between the development of delayed reperfusion arrhythmias and the severity of ischemic injury prior to reperfusion.
