Reports on the appearance of a dysrhythmia generated by subsidiary pacemakers that is characterized by periods of rhythmic pacemaker activity cyclically interrupted by periods of bradycardia. Changes in maximum diastolic potential in phase with cyclic changes in spontaneous cycle length; Brief exposure of dysrhythmic preparations to acetylstrophanthidin which prevented the development of bradycardias by establishing rhythmic pacemaker activity. |
