Modernization of technology and design features of mobile installations for longitudinal sawing of timber under the conditions of felling area.

Abstrakt: The article considers the design of mobile installations for longitudinal s awing of timber. The patent search method was used. The idea is based on research well known in the field and does not contradict their conclusions. The aim of the work is to find options for reducing physical effort during stacking and loading lumber during longitudinal sawing in a cutting area in the absence of specialized equipment at loading sites and consumer warehouses. The authors describe in detail a new method of work and the design of a mobile installation for longitudinal sawing of timber in a cutting area, which makes it possible to achieve the possibility of producing boards in the form of incompletely sawn logs. It becomes possible to carry out loading and unloading operations using a manipulator equipped with a standard grab without the use of manual labor or specialized machines and mechanisms. The proposed method of longitudinal sawing consists in the fact that on the end parts of the timber there are triangular unsawn wood. The subsequent separation of the sawn timber into boards is carried out at the consumer's warehouse by either transverse sawing and removal of unsawn end parts, or longitudinal sawing of the remaining unsawn cuts. The method of longitudinal sawing of timber can be used in small-scale logging enterprises located near product consumers. The proposed work option is especially relevant in the absence of our own warehouse with stationary equipment for longitudinal sawing of timber, loading and unloading timber trucks.
