It argues that educators can design effective writing prompts for GenAI tools by utilizing knowledge of genre, register, and grammar, as outlined in the Australian Curriculum: English (ACE); and explores how functional grammar concepts related to genre and contextual register variables can inform the creation of prompts for GenAI writing tools. |
