Abstrakt: The article presents a study which assessed the challenges posed by traumatic brain injuries (TBI) on the medical, social and economic sectors in Europe. Also cited are how the collected data in the Trauma Registry of the German Society of Trauma Surgery (TR-DGU) are used to improve TBI treatments and the most common causes of TBI, including accidental falls.
