Abstrakt: This article presents a research guide to the biography of English author Robert Greene. Greene was born in 1558 in Norwich, England to a lower middle-class family. He worked his way through school and received a bachelor's degree and a masteral degree. After marrying, he moved to London, England where he deserted his wife and son for a sister of a criminal with whom he had a son. He enjoyed popularity from 1588-1592, writing romances, plays and pamphlets. After contracting a fatal illness in August 1952, he repented his wasted life and talent, asked forgiveness from his wife, left his mistress, and wrote Greene's Groatsworth of Wit Bought With a Million Repentance. He died September 3, 1952.
