Abstrakt: This article provides information on author Conrad Aiken which may be invaluable to research, including the author's chronology, selected bibliography, and selected criticism. Born August 5, 1889, the oldest child of Dr. William Ford and Anna Potter Aiken in Savannah, Georgia; 1901 Conrad's father kills his wife and then turns the gun on himself; Conrad, age eleven, discovers the murder-suicide; Aiken's younger sister and two brothers are adopted by a family in Philadelphia and Conrad goes to live in New Bedford, Massachusetts with relatives; 1903 enters Middlesex school in Concord, Massachusetts; 1907 enters Harvard University.
