McDonald and Hutcheson outline a multidimensional, inside out, structured process, The Whole Person Technology®, designed to help people move toward inner-directedness and balance. This process, developed by their Highlands Program, a performance improvement training company, has been proven to help people identify their natural talents, articulate them through a Personal Vision, discover how to use them, and to find the right fit between themselves, their talents, and their careers. Executives and managers have also used this program to obtain, train, and retain the best talent for their businesses. Moreover, schools, the workplace, social institutions, friends, and family actively discourage (usually unconsciously) people from expanding their limited view. This situation exists, not because of any inherent evil, but because these groups are systems, with goals and interests that are very different from the goals and interests of the individual. |
