The article attempts to explore the potential of women in sports. H. Wilmanns, the article author, takes an interest in cultural objectives, which have been neglected by researchers on sport and physical culture. Such an approach seems promising to create a basic minimum of commonly accepted values on which a dialogue and some reliable international understanding could develop. Wilmanns refers to the international bestseller "Small is beautiful" in German return to human measure by E. F. Schumacher in which reference is made about values of science and technology and their dependence on the goals they serve. |
