The article reports that Detroit, Michigan, Police Chief Ella Bully-Cummings has delivered the commencement address to about 3,500 students receiving degrees at ceremonies at Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Bully-Cummings is a seasoned Detroit Police Department veteran who has advanced through every departmental rank, beginning more than 25 years ago as a patrol officer in the 11th Precinct. Bully-Cummings has degrees from Madonna University, Michigan, and the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University. |
