The article reports that research center "Hof | Music | City" is a cooperative project between the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences, the State University for Music and Performing Arts Mannheim and the Musicological Seminar of the University Heidelberg. It is dedicated to the history of music in south-west Germany, with a focus on the continuities and interrelationships between courtly and urban music culture around 1800 with a series of events dedicated to musician Georg Joseph Vogler. |
