| Abstrakt: | The article analyzes an 18th century ciborium in the Cathedral Museum of Mdina in Malta, being attributed to Sicilian silversmith Decio Furnò. Topics discussed include the use of the ciborium in church particularly during Good Friday, the elements of decorative fantasy observed in the ciborium in addition to its distinct design known as barochetto, and a comparison between the ciborium and other silverworks created by Furnò. |
