Background:This research is based on the phenomenon of the development of deviant behavior in kindergarten children, such as bullying, accessing pornography while studying at home, disrespecting parents, unwilling to cooperate, not having empathy for sick friends, fighting and smoking. Learning that does not pay attention to the development of social skills but focuses more on the ability to read and count in children so that the above problems cannot be solved. The tendency of social skills stimulation research is carried out through cooperative learning. This stimulation has limitations, namely that it can only be done under certain conditions. Meanwhile, social skills need to be stimulated in a directed and continuous manner and integrated with other developmental stimulation. Methods:This study tested the model of social behavior stimulation based on behavior problems in the experimental class. The treatment was given to 10 kindergarten children. Collecting data in this study using an instrument of observation of the development of social skills of kindergarten age children. The data analysis technique on the effectiveness test was carried out using the SPSS version 26 application. Results:This study resulted in a SPS-BP model book with a valid and practical SPS-BP guidebook used by teachers to stimulate children's social development. The results of this study explain that the SPS-BP model is effective in developing children's social behavior in kindergarten. Conclusions: The effectiveness of the SPS-BP model on children's social skills in Pertiwi Padang Kindergarten is 1,11 with a strong category. The conclusion of this study shows that the SPS-BP model is very effective on the social skills of kindergarten children. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
