The prismatic coefficient for these hulls is quite high at 0.66, and this measure of hull fullness indicates a higher average expected cruising speed than the typical monohull cruiser with a prismatic of 0.54-0.56. Instead, Mike Waller has put great effort into paring the boat down to its essentials, and with a number of these catamarans having been built and cruised, his work has been affirmed. DEPARTMENTS The Waller 880 catamaran was created to be an excellent-performing family coastal cruiser that is a straightforward build with extensive, comfortable accommodations.
