This article discusses the etymology of Serbian toponyms within the United States of America and Canada and further critically examines and complements the materials from an earlier publication.1 Subsequent research, using recently digitized archival materials, government documents, gazetteers, maps, and historical newspapers, has resulted in the acquisition of new data which enables a more accurate explanation of the origin of existing toponyms, a reinterpretation and reclassification of some toponyms, and, most importantly, the discovery of 22 toponyms which have never before been reported, thereby making this research more comprehensive and complete.
