Abstrakt: The article discusses the importance of sustained professional learning across a teaching life if teachers are truly committed to working toward linguistic justice in schools and communities. Through engaging in professional learning, English teachers can further develop cultural competence and learn new strategies for sustaining diversity and working toward inclusivity in their classrooms and school communities.
