To make translation successful, it is necessary to overcome several obstacles, some of which are social and cultural in nature. There are societal and cultural distinctions not only between nations but also among them. In the most majority of instances, we come across a nation that possesses various social and cultural diversity. Because of these disparities, effective translation is hampered in some way or another. This is because different languages give rise to distinct ideas of the world around them. This article looks at myriad challenges that a translator comes acrosswhile translating a workdue to the influence of social and ethnic elements.
