Abstrakt: A 22-year-old White female patient reported psoriasis during anamnesis and had been in crisis for a week. The patient presented exacerbated psoriatic lesions on her skin. Intraoral examination revealed a reddish spot on the median region of the hard palate with ulcerated areas. The patient reported improvement of the lesion with the use of Oncilon Orabase prescribed by a general dentist 4 days ago, when she was also evaluated by the doctor and prescribed methotrexate (2.5 mg). Given the data collected and the clinical aspects, the initial approach was to keep the patient under observation and prescribe mouthrinses with 0.05% clobetasol propionate. The patient returned in 7 days with improvement of the cutaneous psoriasis and significant regression of the oral lesion. Thus, her diagnosis was confirmed, because the evolution of the oral lesion followed the clinical course of the cutaneous picture previously diagnosed by histopathologic analysis by the dermatologist.
