Abstrakt: Angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia (ALHE) is an uncommon benign vascular tumor frequently involving the head and neck region. We report a case of a 30-year-old White female patient with an asymptomatic erythematous hyperplasic bleeding lesion in the vestibular region, extending from tooth 21 to tooth 25, and periodontal pocket in the mesiovestibular region of tooth 23. During anamnesis, the patient reported chronic use of contraceptives. Radiographic examination revealed a horizontal bone loss in the region of teeth 22 and 23. Hematologic tests were requested and revealed only mild eosinophilia. An incisional biopsy was performed, and the diagnosis was ALHE. The treatment consisted of suspension of the contraceptive, nonsurgical periodontal therapy, and application of intralesional corticosteroids. Remission of the lesion was observed in 14 days. No recurrence was observed after 8 months of follow-up. The distinction of ALHE from malignant vascular tumors is essential to avoid overtreatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
