Date Presented 03/31/2022 Freezing of gait (FOG) is a common characteristic of Parkinson's disease (PD) in which a person has a reduction or absence of effective forward steps. It is most prevalent during more complex motor tasks. Data were analyzed as a prospective experimental review to examine the impact of laser shoe attachments on functional mobility in real-world mobility scenarios for individuals with PD-FOG. Preliminary findings suggest that laser shoe attachments may be a feasible option.
