The article centers on the book Viaje Poético á Petropolis, by Carmen de Gelabert. It aims to analyze the relationship between landscape and literature, showing how landscape is perceived and how our production (literary, artistic, design) is influenced by our surroundings, visible or invisible. The methodology is predicated on selecting authors who work with both physical and emotional perceptions of space. In terms of new questions and inferences, the article highlights the landscape and its variables as a broad field that is constantly evolving. It attests to the great influence landscape possesses in terms of quality of life, especially in the twenty-first century, as resilience and basic human needs are put to the test in unprecedented ways.
