The article highlights a research which shows that to determine what proportion of the Hooded Vulture population uses the beach environment on a regular basis for feeding in The Gambia. It discusses that field studies to track the sequence of events at turtle and dolphin strandings would also help to clarify the processes that facilitate vultures to gain access to soft tissues of large, stranded marine fauna. |
