"What are we doing with this?": How High School Students' Lived and Experienced Curricula Prepare Them for College.

Abstrakt: The article reports that field's literature has called for cross-institutional collaboration, cooperation, and partnerships, while acknowledging that demands on teachers make such projects hard to establish and sustain. Topics include curriculum often focus on what Kathleen Yancey calls the delivered curriculum; and way of comparing secondary language arts' test-responsive focus on standardized formulas, and rules with the theoretical curriculum taught in first-year college writing courses.
