Abstrakt: This article presents the sociological study of public opinion in Soviet Union, regarding their experiences and problems. The need for sociological study of public opinion results from the concerns with both expansion of the informational base and raising of the level of scientific competence of management of social processes. management of social processes. The steadily growing role of the subjective factor in accelerating the pace of construction of communism, sociological information on the status, structure, and dynamics of public opinion is becoming increas- ingly important to improving the effectiveness of administration. It is necessary also to emphasize the aspect of the problem represented by the influence of public opinion upon the development of the initiative, job, and political activity of the working population, and upon its constantly increasing involvement in managing the affairs of socialist society. The scale and stability of public opinion were measured in a study to understand public opinion. In this study various aspects of the social reality were evaluated.
