The article discusses the Supreme Court of California case People v. Frahs which deals with a mental health pretrial diversion program. It reports the counts of second-degree robbery charged against Eric Frahs who later introduced testimony regardinghis mental health. The court ruled that the statute creating a mental health pretrial diversion program can be applied retroactively due to the ameliorative effect that it could bring. |
