This article explains that when looking for a value-added reseller (VAR) a mobile wireless solution, a company should seek a provider with a wide range of services. End users need to find a VAR whose expertise extends well beyond the hardware that will be deployed. A successful VAR should be able to provide consulting services, installation services, project management, and technical support. By taking advantage of a VAR's consulting services, an end user can carefully analyze a potential solution to see how it can solve an initial problem as well as provide long-term financial benefits. In addition to providing a range of services, VARs also should be able to offer end users a variety of products to choose from. |
