| Abstrakt: | The article argues that Yemen should bring back women to the political process in order for the country to achieve a sustainable peace. Topics covered include the role played by women in the 2011 protest movement that ousted then-President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the country's six-year civil war that has turned into the world's largest humanitarian crisis, and the mechanisms that the United Nations should put in place to protect the Yemeni women's rights at present and after the war ends. |
