Abstrakt: As an example, contemporary literature suggests that rural EICs are more numerous than urban EICS.26 At the same time, scholars note that by forming these new and different living models on greenfields or otherwise undeveloped rural spaces, EICs have the potential to merely "greenwash" sprawl.27 Consider, for instance, an anecdote described by Chitewere, whereby an interviewed EIC resident reported that he had to purchase his first vehicle after moving to a rural EIC because there was no public transportation to urban jobs.
