| Abstrakt: |
The authors reflect on the challenges in the response to the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) disease in the U.S. like the ventilator and personal protective equipment (PPE) shortages, as well as some possible solutions. Also cited are how the use of ventilators from the Strategic National Stockpile resolved the shortages, and the study on the use of automatic resuscitator in a porcine model of severe hypoxemia. |
