Abstrakt: B Results: b Of the 177 patients undergone surgical exploration for gastric cancer with the intent of curative surgery, 28 patients (15.8%) (M:F=2.5:1) were considered eligible as the CS population. The median overall survival (OS) of the CS population undergoing R0 resection was 23.3 months, which was similar to the median OS of 24.7 months in stage III patients (n=40) undergoing R0 resection (p=0.59; HR:1.26 with 95% CI: 0.53 to 2.95). B Conclusions: b A subset of stage IV gastric cancer patients with solitary metastasis, or limited surrounding organ invasion, may have improved survival if surgical resection with R0 resection is achieved after neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
