Build For figure painters, the work of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, a loose collection of mid-19th-century London artists, is bound to be a source of fascination. The Pre-Raphaelite's oil technique is unusual, as it resembles that of watercolor more than a traditional layered-oil approach and was consciously developed to imitate fresco.
