This paper examines how the performance of mechanical systems in the composition of a processing center can be improved, which gives a 6-axis movement by implementing a preventive maintenance plan. Theoretical concepts on maintenance types are presented and are detailed on a 6-axis processing center. A comparative analysis is presented between an initial maintenance plan and a final one to highlight the improvement of the performance of a 6-axis processing center. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
