The article discusses the textual tools and use of windows, mirrors, and maps for representing lesbian, gay, bisexual, and other non-heterosexual people (LGB+) texts. Topics covered include their focus on the narrative's words and images, the similar use of peritext within the back matter, and the categories of intratextual, supplemental, documentary, and promotional peritext. Also noted are four books including "We Are One: The Story of Bayard Rustin" that use peritext for representation. |
