Population is an important source of development, yet it is a major source of environmental degradation when it exceeds the threshold limits of the support systems. Unless the relationship between the multiplying population and the life support system can be stabilized, development programs, howsoever, innovative are not likely to yield desired results (Maheswari, 2012; Ray, 2011). Hence, this study gave an att ention on investigating the role of population growth on the economic growth and the implication of population's age composition on economic growth in developing world. This article was writt en based on secondary sources of data. The required data to the study were gathered from available and relevant books, regional and international treaties, domestic laws, journal articles, magazines, governmental and non-governmental organization reports, and other publications have been reviewed.
