Abstrakt: This case report is to discuss the unusual complication of Oesophagogastroduodenoscopy (OGDS) resulting in right Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) dislocation. TMJ dislocation is commonly seen in sport injury, motor vehicle accident, accidental falls and geriatric patients and also observed as a complication of intubation or anaesthetic procedure. However, TMJ dislocation is rare and unusual in OGDS procedure. This case describes the clinical presentation and management of a 50 year old Chinese male patient who had TMJ dislocation following and OGDS procedure. This case report will discuss on management and prevention of TMJ dislocation during OGDS procedure. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
