Abstrakt: Recognizing that addressing ways to eliminate / reduce potential breaches of procedures by the operators of industrial technical equipments requires a deeper understanding of the main reasons behind the non-compliance with procedures, which can be many, varied and often combined, in this research work a methodology and set of associated tools was developed to identify potential critical risks of non-compliance with procedures in any organization that operates industrial equipments and to offer some basic strategies to minimize related occupational health and safety risks. The proposed approach represents a means for the rapid identification of significant organizational risk factors and the most appropriate solutions. The methodology was applied in an industrial company where all the work injuries occurred during a decade were triggered by human errors. The results obtained and the state of proposed prevention measures implementation in the studied company are synthesized. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
