This article presents information on how to create a dynamic QuickTime slideshow using still images, specially created title cards, songs from iTunes and special effects, plus some options for posting the finished product for download. This project requres an Operating System 10.2.8 or higher, an iPhoto 2004, Internet connection, AppleWorks 6, a QuckTime Pro and FTP Client--the last three are just optional. To begin this project, open iPhoto. Go to File New Album to start the slideshow setup. Once the images are arranged click on the Slideshow icon on the tool bar. When the slideshow is set, it can be exported already. Go to File Export to open the Export page. In the first window, File Export, keep the default settings, with the exception of Name; change that to Use album name. Next, bypass the center tab and move to the QuickTime tab. Click export, give the movie a name and select a save destination. |
