Abstrakt: This article suggests a successful approach in creating flexibility and stability in the feet based on Aaron Mattes's system of Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) and Strengthening. Topics discussed include disadvantages of the extra force applied to the body by pushing through exercises, the importance of paying attention to pain and how to stretch with AIS.
