The article presents research results on the mobilization processes in the construction of the written language, carried out with children in the preschool through significant learning situations, using textual varieties, in a rural area of the municipality of Salgar (Antioquia), belonging to the public education sector, with a low socioeconomic level according to Colombian regulations. A descriptive qualitative study, framed in a case study with 17 students, seven boys and ten girls, was proposed as a methodology. with ages between 5 and 7 years. The most significant findings start from considering reading and writing as a constructive process, through the natural exploration of the written code, moving beyond phonological awareness, towards textual production, generating successful articulations and transits between preschool and Basic primary in the reading and writing processes.
