Abstrakt: Patients LSL and THV, aged 8 and 9 years old and white, came to the clinic of stomatology to evaluate the increase of mandibular volume uncovered in daily consultations with a dentist. LSL presented pain and drainage, with antibiotic coverage before routing to a specialized stomatology service, and THV was sent directly to the service through an orthodontist, who saw the lesion in a routine consultation. Intraoral analysis of LSL revealed the lobbying of the vestibule in the posterior region, and THV did not have increase of volume or symptomatology. A probable diagnosis of dentigerous cyst was reached after evaluation of orthopantomogram. Conservative treatment chosen was marsupialization and specimen shipment for histopathologic analysis. The control of both patients is periodical, and they are stable without relapse of lesion, loss of bone, and loss of dental structure, with complete restoration of function and elimination of lesion.
