The article presents a video that shows how to develop an appropriate extraperitoneal para-aortic space to complete the procedure extraperitoneally. Topics mentioned include placement of a 10-millimeter endoscope at the inferior margin of the umbilicus, incision of the skin and fascia with a scalpel, and dissection of the peritoneal layer from the abdominal wall muscles under laparoscopic vision. |
