Various ways of effectively collecting and recycling e-wastes in environmentally sound manner is a major challenge in most parts of the world, especially the developing countries like Nigeria. This study examines the perception of the Nigerian populace with regards to their willingness to be part of a sustainable e-waste management system and to what extent they can be committed to the cause. The study assessed the major challenges confronting e-waste management in Nigeria and proposed measures for tackling them. The deposit-refund system was proposed as the appropriate management model that is most suitable for the management of electronic wastes in Nigeria. The modalities through which this system can be established and sustained in Nigeria have been proposed in this paper. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
