| Abstrakt: | Two newly found drawings by Pier Leone Ghezzi have come to light in a Florentine auction house. They identify further sculptures as once decorating the imperial residence on the Palatine. This paper focuses on a pavonazzetto marble relief depicting a Dionysian thiasos. It was found during Francesco Bianchini's 1722 excavation on the Palatine. First taken to Parma, it was then moved to its present home in Naples. Stylistically the relief is similar to another in what was the Cavaceppi and then Albani collection. It is thought that both come from the triclinium of the Domus Transitoria.
