Abstrakt: Seaweed-like ZnO sheets consisting of wurtzite-type nanoplates with a thickness less than 5 nm were grown in an aqueous solution system containing phosphate anions. The platy crystals were formed with specific adsorption of phosphate anions on the (001) plane. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
