The basic focus of the religion Islam includes wellbeing, contentment and prosperity of the human race. Human being, 'the Greatest of the Creation', the 'ashraful makhluqat ' was created with no differences. Both man and woman were created by the Almighty to play their roles in such a manner that they could collectively serve the whole mankind. Islam has given a very high status to women as until and unless they don't play their defined role, the human society cannot progress. Our Prophet (peace be upon him) has also laid emphasis on knowledge being compulsory for both men and women, "Seeking of knowledge is a duty of every Muslim." The women are the ones who bring a new life in the world. They are the very first contact and trainers of the future nation builders. How can people even think that kitchenware suits in the hands of a woman and not a book or pen? How can the world put a full stop on the topic of women education? Who has given the world the right to state that Muslim women should be busy in kitchens rather than in air-conditioned offices?. Our paper discusses some very important points, with reference to The Holy Quran and teachings of Islam, which throws light on the necessity of education in a Muslim woman's life.
