Pollen tetrad description of different rhododendron species (Ericaceae) containing normal reformation on microsporogenesis and micros pore tetrads based on rotational and transitional views of tetrads is described. Variation in size of pollen tetrads and morphology in some rhododendron species were most remarkable. Successive microsporogenesis resulting in tetrahedral tetrads was reported for some species of rhododendrons. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
