The rising public awareness and changing ecology environments have enhanced the public demands for ecology services so that ecology quality is getting emphasized. Ecology institutes therefore have introduced industrial management ideas and tactics to develop the advantage of human resources. In order to achieve better, more professional and public-identified quality, various specialties or departments have devoted to enhance the employees' professional competency. This study therefore expects to deeply discuss the characters of employees' professional competency in ecology institutes and understand the correlations among employees' professional competency, career commitment, and work performance in ecology industry. The employees of Fujian Ecology Company are distributed 500 copies of questionnaires by mails in this study. Total 362 valid copies are collected, with the retrieval rate 72%. The research results present significant correlations between 1.professional competency and career commitment, 2.career commitment and work performance, and 3.professional competency and work performance. Based on the research results, suggestions are proposed for the reference of ecology industry promoting employees' professional competency or work performance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
